Prospective cohort study tracking individuals with documented acute/recent HIV-1 infection initiating antiretroviral treatment from diagnosis. The objective is to have available, to participate in clinical trials of therapeutic vaccines and eradication strategies, a clinical platform of candidates for whom biological samples have been simultaneously and prospectively obtained from treatment outset, so as to study immune response, establishment of viral reservoirs and changes in the intestinal microbiome in initial HIV transmission. There is no clinical intervention other than the extraction of additional biological samples and the collection of faeces.
