In 2019, Marta Navarro graduated in Biology from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). Later on, she also studied the Master's Degree in Biotechnology at the UAM, specializing in the design of nanoparticles bound to CRISPR/Cas system proteins for use in gene therapy in pancreatic cancer.
After finishing her master's degree, Marta spent 6 months in Ghent (Belgium) working in a plant biotechnology company where she discovered that she wanted to continue her research career. She is currently a PhD student in the Host Genetics and Cellular Immunity group.
