Sana Ment Project

SANA MENT Project

Involving students in R+I

In this project, health interventions related to emotional wellbeing are designed and implemented with and for students in collaboration with educators, researchers, patient associations, politicians and companies.

Who’s behind it?

The IrsiCaixa Living Lab for Health, in coordination with the Catalan Xplore Health educational programme cluster and the European EnRRICH project.

Who’s involved?

A total of 15 pilot schools and four research centres and universities in Catalonia: the Centre for Environmental Epidemiology Research, the Health Sciences Educational Research Group at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), the Mental Health and Social Innovation Research Group (SaMIS) at the University of Vic and the Health Sciences Research Group at the University of Barcelona.

How do we do it?

We apply RRI quality criteria as inspired by the European Science Shop and Living Lab models and also include CBPR, open innovation and participatory governance.
